Does Backbone use any sub-processors when transferring data?

Question

Does Backbone use any sub-processors when transferring data from the target to the source (for DC-DC, Cloud, Cloud, and DC Cloud)?

Answer

Synchronizations set up on Cloud:
Backbone’s infrastructure runs on AWS, where your data is processed and temporarily stored.

For analytics, Backbone uses Segment and Amplitude to analyze how Backbone is being used. This option can be deactivated via steps stated here.

Synchronizations set up on Data Center:
Backbone doesn’t use any intermediate sub-processor. The DC instance directly connects via REST to the other instance.
