Backbone Work Sync 3.1.33-AC
July 2025
Backbone Work Sync 3.1.33-AC is now available. This release fixes an empty sync panel problem when there were outdated properties as well as blocking licensing problems when syncing between Data Center and Cloud.
You may have noticed a few releases in quick succession recently. These were related to an update problem caused by Backbone version 3.1.30-AC. We’ve resolved that issue in the latest releases - your synchronizations should now be visible and functioning as expected.
To ensure everything is working correctly and you are on the latest version, please go to “Manage Apps” and update Backbone Work Sync.
However, due to these changes, some customers experienced a temporary interruption in synchronization.
Call to Action: Resync Required
Due to the release, Backbone missed some updates for some customers that were made after the release, which occurred after July 10th, 2025 13:00 UTC/15:00 CEST.
When does this affect me?
This issue only affects Cloud-to-Cloud and Cloud-to-Data Center syncs if one of the following applies:
You attempted to update the app but encountered a 401 error
In the “Manage App” section, your current version is listed as 3.1.29-AC
What are the next steps?
To sync the possibly missing updates, we recommend triggering a resync. Here are the instructions on how to resync. This resync needs to be done:
For every synchronization.
In both directions.
For work items created or updated after July 10th, 2025 13:00 UTC/ 15:00 CEST
You can use the following JQL query in the resync dialog to successfully sync all the missed updates: updatedDate >= "2025-07-10 15:00"
Note: Please make sure to adapt it to your time zone, for example for UTC it would be: updatedDate >= "2025-07-10 13:00"
