Recently created issue types, fields, etc. are not available when editing configuration

Symptom

A project's recently created issue types, fields, workflow data etc. are not available while editing the configuration.

Explanation

Backbone uses caching to speed up the UI and the synchronization process. If you've recently changed the project/Jira configuration, the old project configuration data will still be in the cache.

Solution

Clear the synchronization's cache by viewing the synchronization, then clicking ••• > Clear Backbone cache:
