Attachment exceeds file size

Symptoms

The attachment of an issue doesn’t get synchronized and an error appears in the troubleshooting section with the following message “Failed to sync attachment <fileName> as it exceeds the current backbone limitation of 400MB

Cause

Backbone can only sync issues up to 400MB. The file attached to the issue, that Backbone is trying to sync, is bigger than 400MB

Resolution

To fix this, you can set the same limit in the attachment configuration by setting the “maximum file size“ to 400MB.

After, you can resync the error message.
