After installing the add-on, you need to connect your Confluence instance to the Acrolinx Language Optimization Server, and define which users can use Acrolinx' features in Confluence.
Connect to your Acrolinx server
The first step is to establish a connection between your Confluence system and your Acrolinx server – start by navigating to Confluence administration > Scroll Acrolinx Connector > Configuration > Edit.
Firstly, enter the URL of your Acrolinx server into the Acrolinx Server Address field.
Server to use during evaluation period
If you are using a trial version of Scroll Acrolinx Connector, you can connect to the free Acrolinx evaluation server at https://test-ssl.acrolinx.com. You won't be able to use this server when using a fully licensed version of Acrolinx Connector.
Please note that while using the demonstration server your evaluation license details will be transmitted to Acrolinx.
Configure single sign-on
If your Acrolinx server is configured for single sign-on (SSO), you can configure SSO to let all Confluence users access all Acrolinx functions without having to log into Acrolinx.
To configure SSO, enter your SSO password in the Single Sign-on Password field.
SSO password is required starting with Acrolinx Connector 3.2.0
Starting with Scroll Acrolinx Connector 3.2.0, the SSO password is mandatory.
Set user permissions
In the permissions section, you must define which user groups are able to use the Acrolinx Connector, by adding them to the Enabled Confluence User Groups box. Only users in the groups listed here can use Scroll Acrolinx Connector.
You must define at least one user group in the Enabled Confluence User Groups before you can start using Scroll Acrolinx Connector.
