Cleaning Temporary Files

During exports, Scroll Exporters is producing temporary files in the Confluence temporary directory (located at <CONFLUENCE_DATA>/temp). The Confluence Administrator must take care to ensure that the disk containing this directory has enough space. If you are running out of space, you can clean the temporary files manually. Usually Confluence does this automatically by running a scheduled job once a day.

Info

For more information about scheduled jobs, please have a look at the following page in the Atlassian Confluence documentation: Scheduled Jobs

Before you begin: To clean the temporary files, you must log in with Confluence Admin permissions.

To clean the temporary files:

  1. Click the cog icon at top right of the screen and select Confluence Admin.
    The Administration Console is displayed.
  2. In the Administration section click Scheduled Jobs.
  3. Scroll down to Clean Temporary Directory  and click Run.

The temporary files are cleaned.
