The Customize Settings link in the Export Scheme screen can be hidden globally for specific spaces only. This might be handy, if you want to have the link displayed on the majority of your spaces, but only want to hide it for certain spaces.

Before you begin: Before you can hide the Customize Settings, you must log in with Confluence Admin permissions to hide it globally.

To hide the Customize Settings in Scroll Office for each space:

  1. Click the cog icon at top right of the screen and select Confluence Admin.
    The Administration Console is displayed.
  2. In the Look and Feel section, click Custom HTML.
    The custom HTML settings are displayed.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Enter the following code in the field At the end of the BODY and change Spacekey1 and Spacekey2 to the space keys you want to hide the button in. Of course you can also add more space keys, simply by adding them comma-separated.

    <script>

    var spaceKeys = ['Spacekey1', 'Spacekey2'];
    function addcss(css){
        var head = document.getElementsByTagName('head')[0];
        var s = document.createElement('style');
        s.setAttribute('type', 'text/css');
        if (s.styleSheet) {   // IE
            s.styleSheet.cssText = css;
        } else {                // the world
            s.appendChild(document.createTextNode(css));
        }
        head.appendChild(s);
    }
        AJS.toInit(function($) {
            var currentSpaceKey = AJS.params.spaceKey;
            if ($.inArray(currentSpaceKey, spaceKeys) > -1) {
                 addcss('.scroll-docbook-export-dialog.aui-dialog .dialog-button-panel a.button-panel-link.scroll-customize-settings-link {display:none;}');
            }
        });
    </script>

  5. Click Save.

The script hides the customize settings link for the space keys defined in "spacekey1","spacekey2".
