Read and interact with multiple pages of a document at once with the scrollable Document Reader.

  • From the Document Library, on a document, click Read. The preview dialog displays.

From the Document Reader dialog, you can quickly skim through the content of all the versions of a document. You can then quickly close the preview and continue browsing.

In addition to optimizing the readability of your document, with the reader you can also:

  • View and navigate the document outline

  • (with edit permissions) Open the page tree or individual pages of your document to make changes to the content

  • Share different versions of the document

  • Export different versions of the document to PDF or Word
  • Confirm a Read Request

Navigate a Document with the Outline

On the left side of the Document Reader, you’ll see an Outline to help you stay in context as you read through a document. The document outline displays all page titles and headings contained within the document pages.

The outline is interactive, so you can expand and collapse sections as necessary. To scroll to a specific section in the document, simply click on a title or heading within the outline.

Open a Specific Page Within Your Document

In the Document Reader, you can open the individual pages that make up your document. From a page, you can edit the content of your document.

  1. Hover over a page title in the document.

  2. Click the Open in pages icon.

  3. Optionally, Edit the page.

The Open in pages option is only available next to the page titles in the document. So if your goal is to open a specific section of a document, such as content below a heading, first scroll to the page with this heading and click the related Open in pages icon.
