Add Existing Page Tree
In Scroll Documents, each version has its own separate page tree. But what if you want to add an existing set of pages as a new version? Or perhaps you need to reassemble a broken document? The Add existing page tree feature makes this possible.
How to Add an Existing Page Tree as a Version
To add a page tree as a new version to your Document
Open the Document Manager for your Scroll Document.
Select More document actions (•••) > Advanced options > Add existing page tree to open the Add page tree dialog.
Search for the top-level page of the page tree you want to add.
Make sure all the pages you need are listed in the preview, click Next.
Within the Basic tab, give your new version a name and an optional description.
Open the Advanced tab and give your version a prefix, this prefix will be added to all the pages you're adding.
The parent version is automatically set to the latest version. We recommend keeping this setting.
Versions are ordered alphanumerically by their names. If you want to change the order of your versions, you can adjust the version name after creating them.
Click Save to create the new version.
The page tree you selected is now added as a new version to your document. The pages are moved under your document's versions location page.
