Export a document's current state to PDF/Word

Anshuman Dash

Anshuman Dash Last update: Jul 15, 2019

Scroll Documents features a seamless integration with the Scroll PDF Exporter and Scroll Word Exporter apps, letting you export your multi-page documents to PDF or Word format and use the powerful customization functionality to fully style the output.

In order to take advantage of the export features in Scroll Documents, you need to have these apps installed. If you don't have them on your system, you can try them for free on the Atlassian Marketplace.

The alternative is to export the pages of your document using Confluence's export functionality

You can export from two different locations in Confluence:

  • the Documents Overview
  • the Document Viewer

Export from the Overview

  1. In the documents overview, select the document you would like to export
  2. Click the actions menu in the details view ••• > click Export to PDF/Export to Word depending on the format you want.
  3. Select your template and export settings as you normally would in Scroll PDF Exporter or Scroll Word Exporter, then click Export

Export from the Viewer

  1. Open the document you would like to export in the document viewer
  2. Click the actions menu in the top right-hand corner ••• > and click Export to PDF/Export to Word depending on the format you want.

  3. Select your template and export settings as you normally would in Scroll PDF Exporter or Scroll Word Exporter, then click Export
