Define template settings

The template editor's Settings tab contains several customization options.

The General screen has the following options:


Template Name

The template's name. Appears in all template lists.
DescriptionA description assigned to the template (the description is currently only displayed here).
Page SizeChoose from A2, A3, A4, A5, Letter and Legal.
Page OrientationChoose from Portrait and Landscape.
LanguageThe language used for formatting the date placeholders, depending on the used date format.

The Properties screen contains the following customization options: 

Include/excludeInclude/exclude child pages with particular page labels
Index termsCheck to use page labels as index terms
Enable numbered headingsCheck to number your headings and table of contents

Keep multi-column page layouts

Uses the Confluence page layout in the export
Enable links to external websitesIf checked, web links in the PDF will be clickable
Enable links to ConfluenceIf checked, links to your Confluence site will be clickable

Repeat table header if table breaks to a new page

If checked, table headers will be repeated on all pages that the table is exported onto
Show 'Table Of Content' macro outputDisplays TOC content in exports
Show 'Children' macro outputDisplays children macro content in exports
Convert image gallery tables to listsImages in gallery macros are displayed in a list rather than a grid
Figure captionsIf an image is assigned a caption using the Scroll Title macro, you can select whether to display that caption before or after the image
Table captionsIf an table is assigned a caption using the Scroll Title macro, you can select whether to display that caption before or after the table
Optimize export for printingadds a footer section displaying the full URLs of all links on the page
Title/Author/Subject/KeywordsAdds metadata to the exported PDF
