We are happy to announce the release of Scroll PDF Exporter 4.5, which is an improvement and bugfix release.
This update provides users with additional control over how Confluence Status macros are styled in PDF exports. Additionally, we have added functionality to the template editor, providing users with the option to format their exported content in a two-column layout.
We have also introduced a number of bug fixes in this release, including a fix for the on-screen error which was produced when adding either the Scroll Ignore or Scroll Only macro from the Confluence editor toolbar.
Style Confluence Status macros
This minor release for Scroll PDF Exporter now includes the option to style Confluence status macros in your exports. This means that alongside being able to define the specific font for the Status macro text (this includes uploading custom fonts as well), users can also make changes to the size, line-height and padding for their included text. The template editor will provide a live-view for the styling choices applied for both versions of the Status macro (default style in full color/outline style).
Columnize your exported content
Additionally, within the Document Sections in the template editor, it is now possible to format content in a two-column layout. This is useful if you need the flow of your exported content to be columnized and provides more flexibility to users when structuring the template layout for exporting Confluence content.
Multiple bug fixes
We have also introduced a number of bug fixes in this minor update release. Most notably, we have resolved:
- the error that was presented by adding either the Scroll Ignore or Scroll Only macro from the Confluence editor toolbar
- the issue affecting Admonition macro titles from being incorrectly exported when included in a list style
- the Space Description placeholder not exporting properly when including a '-'
