We are happy to introduce Scroll PDF Exporter 4.6 which is an improvement and bugfix release.
This minor release introduces many new features that will allow users to further customize how their exports are formatted and styled. This includes the introduction of a popular voted feature request – the option to define the filename for an export.
Additionally, we have added a new macro, the Scroll Content Block macro that will assist users to keep their important content together in the PDF export. We have also added further page numbering options to the template editor and further improved how the Confluence Code Block macro is exported, by supporting line numbering.
Define your own filename
This update provides users with the option to set their own filename. Within the template editor (via Settings > Properties > File Options), users can set how the filename is constructed and can choose from a variety of placeholder or your own text to achieve this:
The new Scroll Content Block macro
We have also included a new macro with this release, the Scroll Content Block macro. This macro can be used to mark any content that you do not want to have split across a page break in an export. The contents within the macro will be treated as a block of content, suppressing page breaks to avoid orphans and widows in exported documents. To find out more, please see our documentation.
Additional page numbering options
Scroll PDF Exporter v4.6 also introduces new page numbering options, allowing users to reset the page numbering on the desired pages in their template.
Additionally, through the use of the Current Page Number placeholder and Document Page Count placeholder, it is now possible to define the number format that appears in the PDF document – options in include numbers, letter or roman numerals.
