Override the Confluence page title

Nils Bier

Nils Bier Last update: Nov 7, 2018

You can use the Scroll Pagetitle macro to override the Confluence page title in exports. This is useful because page titles in Confluence have to be unique within a space – so being able to overwrite them gives you more flexibility in naming pages in your export.

To use the macro, simply insert it into a page and enter the page title you want to have displayed in your exports. Now in your exports, the page title is overwritten with the defined page title in the macro.

Info

Please note that the Scroll Pagetitle macro does currently not work in combination with Scroll Translations. We're tracking this in our JIRA System: EXP-1125

If you're using Scroll Versions as well, you can publish to a temporary space in the wanted language, and export the content from this space.

To follow this guide, you must first install the Scroll Exporter Extensions add-on
