Deactivate Scroll Translations

If you no longer wish to maintain multiple languages in your space or are planning to migrate to the Cloud without Scroll Documents and Translations for Scroll Documents, which is the Cloud-compatible successor of Scroll Translations, you can deactivate Scroll Translations. This article provides clear instructions on how to deactivate Scroll Translations in your space.

To avoid unwanted content loss

Before proceeding with the deactivation process, it is recommended to perform these actions in a test environment and create an XML backup of the space to avoid any unwanted data loss.

What Happens When You Deactivate Scroll Translations in a Space?

When you deactivate Scroll Translations in a space, you need to delete all languages, which also deletes all content in those languages. Only the content in the default language will remain in the space.

Keep in mind

Again, please be aware that deleting a language will permanently delete all the content in that language.
