Scroll Versions 4.6.0

February 2024

We’re pleased to announce the release of Scroll Versions 4.6.0, which is mainly focussed on improvements to how included content is handled when a space is converted to Scroll Documents.

Give users more control how includes are handled

With this release we’re now allowing users to fully control how their includes should be handled when converting a space to Scroll Documents.

Check out our Migration Hub to learn more about the Conversion Options.

Allow users to categorize pages

We’ve realized that many of our customers are managing their documentation using multiple top-level pages (which might be include pages, but also internal management pages). Previously this structure had to be changed before a conversion to Scroll Documents.

With Scroll Versions 4.6.0 this is a thing of the past, as it’s now possible to categorize your pages and thus making sure the pages are converted correctly to Scroll Documents.

Show actual progress in the Conversion Progress Bar

We’re now keeping track of more information during the conversion to Scroll Documents and thus the progress bar shows more information on the current steps the conversion is in.

Fixed Compatibility Issue with Comala Document Management

We’ve also fixed an issue with our integration with Comala Document Management, which lead to incorrect workflow states displayed in the version overview and workflow report (see VSN-4598 ).

You need to have Comala Document Management 7.0.2 or later installed in order for the integration to work properly.
