Page Content

Some settings in the theme can be customized directly within Confluence itself.

Images

The theme uses information from an image embedded in a Confluence Page.

Size

An image on a page displays in full width in the viewport. You can also set the manual width of the images using the images settings in the Confluence Editor.

Using one of the three relative size buttons in Confluence does not affect the image size in the Help Center theme, but does affect how big images are displayed in Confluence. Use these options only if you want images to display in full size in the Help Center theme, but don't want to see large images while editing in Confluence.

Descriptive text

The theme uses the title and alt text properties of an image. Learn more about why you should use these properties.

Macros

The theme uses some Confluence macros to display different content.

Label Name

What Does it Do?

Which Layout Will be Affected?

scroll-help-center-pinned-page

A page with this label displays on the space home page below the banner.

To order the pinned pages, append a number as shown below to determine their order:

  • scroll-help-center-pinned-page-1

  • scroll-help-center-pinned-page-2

  • scroll-help-center-pinned-page-3

scroll-help-center-cta-page

A page with this label is set as call to action button below the space home description.

scroll-help-center-exclude-page

A page with this label will be excluded from the navigation, the overview page and the search. This also applies for the children of this page except for the search. Only pages with the label applied will be excluded from the search results.

Use Case Example

The page is still accessible through the viewport. This gives you the possibility to implement pages like a sitemap.xml or pages you want to be accessible through a footer or header link.

scroll-help-center-news-page

If you set the "spaceHomePage.detail.news.source" setting to "label", a page with this label will be taken as the news source. The page itself can be accessed through the "Read More" button and the first two children are displayed on the space home page.

scroll-help-center-sitemap

A page with this label renders as a sitemap.xml file listing all pages in that space. It is also hidden from all navigation. Learn more.

Use this label only in portal space!
