How Does Scroll Content Manager Handle Different Content Types?

When creating a space in Confluence, you can add different types of content. These are called "content types" and can be found when you click + Create. The available content types are:

  • Page

  • Live Doc

  • Whiteboard

  • Database

  • Blog

  • Smart Link

  • Folders

What is important to note is that Scroll Content Manager is designed for use with standard Confluence pages. Using Scroll Content Manager with other content types may cause issues. The table below shows the different Confluence content types and explains what happens when you try to use them with Scroll Content Manager:

Live Doc

Live Docs can be added to a document, and will remain Live Docs after saving a version. To ensure that the most recent content of a Live Doc is copied, make sure that Confluence has had time to process your edits.
