Introducing Scroll Content Manager for Confluence

We're giving Scroll Documents a new name - and with it, a sharper focus on where the product is headed.

Scroll Documents is now Scroll Content Manager for Confluence.

Why the Change?

Scroll Documents was built to help teams manage complex documentation as a single unit, with support for versioning, translation, and publishing at scale. Those capabilities aren't going anywhere.

But the way teams create and manage content is evolving. Content is created faster, more collaboratively, and across a wider range of use cases, and the need for structure, governance, and clarity has never been greater. Scroll Content Manager is our response to that shift.

A New Central Workspace: Content Manager

This release introduces improvements already available in your app:

  • Unified, interactive table giving you a single view of all your content

  • One editing experience for Confluence metadata (labels, owners) and Scroll metadata (context keys, variants)

  • Easier filtering and management of content at scale

Improved Workflows and Approvals

  • Assign approvers for your content

  • Track workflow status changes in the Activity log

What’s Coming Next

This is just the beginning. We’ll continue to develop Scroll Content Manager as a flexible content management and governance layer for Confluence, with plans for:

Our goal is to create one powerful place to manage any structured content – product documentation, knowledge bases, compliance documentation, and more.

We're excited about this next step and even more excited to build it with you.
