When updating Confluence, Angular JS integration for AUI cannot be enabled

Symptom

After updating Confluence, the app, Angular JS integration for AUI (AUI-NG), cannot be enabled. Instead, the app will appear disabled in the Manage apps section within the Confluence administration.

Cause

This behaviour occurs because the app is not compatible with Confluence version 9, and later. Angular JS integration for AUI is an app that used to come bundled/ installed automatically with older versions of our Scroll HTML Exporter app. The app is not individually found in the Atlassian Marketplace.

Resolution

Angular JS integration for AUI (AUI-NG) can be uninstalled from your Confluence instance, and you can continue to use Scroll HTML Exporter without any limitations.

Since 2019, Angular JS integration for AUI (AUI-NG) app has not been included with Scroll HTML Exporter due to changes we made for Confluence 7 compatibility.
