Does Scroll PDF Exporter support backup and restore for Cloud to Cloud Migrations?

We don’t currently have a dedicated backup and restore solution for Scroll PDF Exporter app data when performing Cloud-to-Cloud migrations.

Scroll PDF Exporter app data is also not currently backed up or restored by Atlassian Backup and Restore, as Marketplace app data is not supported by Atlassian’s Backup and Restore mechanism.

Cloud-to-Cloud Migrations

When migrating a Confluence Cloud site to another Cloud instance, there are several Scroll PDF Exporter data points that need to be manually backed up and migrated to the new site.

Export Templates

Any custom export templates you’ve created in the global or space template lists need to be re-imported into your new Cloud site.

You can download these templates as .data files from the respective template lists and import them into the corresponding template list on your new Cloud instance. Learn more.

Scroll Macros

Any compatible Scroll macro content added to your pages will be migrated along with your existing Confluence space content, for example through an XML export or Atlassian Backup and Restore.

To make the Scroll macros available on the new Cloud site, you’ll also need to install the free Scroll Exporter Extensions app.

REST API Tokens

Any API tokens created for REST API exports need to be recreated on the new Cloud site.

API tokens are non-recoverable for security reasons, so they cannot be migrated or restored.

Template Brands

If you’ve configured a global brand and/or space-specific brands for Scroll PDF Exporter, these will also need to be set up again on the new Cloud site.
