Important: Request Type Required for JSM Sync
For a successful synchronization with Jira Service Management (JSM) space(s), each issue must have a Request Type assigned.

New Issues: Ensure a Request Type is set via Field Mappings or Default Values.

Existing Issues: If the Request Type is empty, comments and attachments will fail to sync. You must perform a Bulk Change in Jira to assign a Request Type to these issues.

You can use Backbone to synchronize Jira Service Management projects with other Jira Service Management projects or Jira projects. You can configure the synchronization in different ways. You can find example use cases here:
