Nesting macros on Cloud?
Please note that in the new cloud editor Atlassian have removed the possibility to nest macros within other macros (eg. placing the Page Property macro within the Scroll Only macro). Atlassian had an issue open for this change, however, this is now closed and they do not plan to re-introduce this functionality for the new cloud editor - you can view their related issue here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-68323 . Potentially, in the future we will see if it is possible to workaround this and we have created our own feature request but currently we don’t offer any workaround. You can view the related feature request here -EXP-3287
You can mark content to be included in exports but have it hidden from the Confluence page view by using the Scroll Only or Scroll Only Inline macro.
The difference in how these macros work is that a line break is inserted when the Scroll Only macro is used, and no line break is inserted by the Scroll Only Inline macro. Subsequently, as a result of this difference, please note that the Scroll Only Inline macro does not support rich text content and only uses plain text formatting. This is because rich text can also include non-inline content.
Once the macro is inserted, you can Edit it to select which Scroll Exporter app(s) specifically includes the content in the export.
