How Do I Transfer a Document to a New Confluence Instance?

The answer to this question depends on the type of migration you are performing.

Confluence Server/Data Center to Cloud

For Cloud-to-Cloud migrations, you must use XML exports of your spaces:

Ensure Scroll Documents is installed (and its extension apps, if you are also using them) on your new instance.
Import the spaces.
