Quick connect lets you clone a Jira space and setup a synchronization without manual preparation. Instead of preparing two spaces by hand, you clone an existing space and start syncing in one flow.
You can find Quick Connect when you are creating a new synchronization.
When to Use Quick Connect
Quick Connect fits these situations:

You're onboarding a partner, client, or team, and their space should match one you already have.

You want both spaces to share the same work types and fields, so field mapping stays simple.

You set up syncs often and want a consistent starting point each time.

You're evaluating Backbone Work Sync and want to test against your own configuration, not a sample space.
Quick connect is only available for Jira Cloud. It’s currently not available with a remote license.
What You Can Clone
When you create a synchronization, each side can be an existing space or a cloned space. Quick Connect creates a space and copies the configuration including work types, workflows, screens, priorities, and fields. You can bring up to 200 work items along.
Cloning happens once, at setup. Backbone Work Sync doesn't keep the two configurations aligned afterward. If you change a workflow later, that change stays in that space.

How Setup Works
