Scroll Support Hub

Administration

Install Scroll Support Hub, connect your help centers to Jira Service Management (JSM), and control what the app can access.

Everything in this section happens in Jira, except for pasting two values into your Scroll site theme. If you are setting up for the first time, Get Started walks you through the whole setup on one page.

In This Section

Install Scroll Support Hub
Add Scroll Support Hub to Jira so you can connect a help center to a service project.

Prepare Your Service Project
Set up the portal, request types, and customer permissions so the widget behaves the way you expect.

Connect a Scroll Site
Connect your Scroll site in Jira and paste two values into your site theme, so the support widget appears on your help center.

Manage Connected Sites
Change where a connected site sends its requests, connect more help centers, or remove a site that should stop showing the widget.

Point Notification Emails to Your Help Center
Change the link in JSM notification emails, so customers open their requests on your support page instead of the portal.

Find Widget Requests in Jira With JQL
Search for the requests that came through the support widget, and group them by website or by whether the visitor was signed in.

App Permissions and Data Handling
See what Scroll Support Hub can read and write in Jira, what it stores, and what it records on each request it creates.

Keeping Up With Changes

The app updates itself, so there is nothing to install when a new version ships. To see what changed and whether it affects your setup, read Scroll Support Hub Release Notes.
