Add Scroll Support Hub to Jira so you can connect a help center to a service project.
You install the app in Jira. Scroll Sites stays in Confluence, and you connect the two afterward by copying two values into your Scroll site theme.
You need to be a Jira administrator to install the app and to open its configuration screen.
Install the App
We’re in Early Access – Activation Required
Scroll Support Hub is currently only available to early access participants and needs to be activated by K15t.
To participate and get access to Scroll Support Hub: Sign up for early access
-
In Jira, go to Settings > Apps > Explore more apps.
-
Search for Scroll Support Hub and open its listing.
-
Click Get it now.
-
Review the permissions Jira asks you to accept, then confirm. The app needs to act on behalf of your customers, so each person sees their own requests and their replies are attributed to them.
To learn what each permission is used for, see App Permissions and Data Handling.
Find the Configuration Screen
You can open the configuration screen in three ways:
-
Go to Settings > Marketplace Apps, then click Scroll Support Hub in the left sidebar;
-
In your JSM sidebar, go to Apps > More actions > Manage apps, then click Scroll Support Hub;
-
Click the Get started link that Jira shows after you install the app.
What to Do Next
Installing the app does not change anything your visitors see. The widget appears only after you connect a website in Jira and paste its Connection URL and Connection ID into your Scroll site theme.
For both parts, see Connect a Scroll Site.
What Happens When You Uninstall
Uninstalling the app removes the list of connected sites and stops the widget from loading everywhere. Requests already in Jira stay as they are, and your customers keep their access through the Jira Service Management portal.
