Scroll Viewport 2.15

November 2019

We're pleased to announce the release of Scroll Viewport 2.15, which is a Help Center theme improvement and bug fix release.

Changes to automatic redirect to Viewport

Starting with 2.15 the option to redirect users to Viewport automatically is now always enabled.

Previously this option used to work like this:

  • when disabled → logged-in users who were not configured in the exception groups saw a not-permitted page when opening a Confluence page;
  • when enabled → logged-in users saw a Viewport page.

Second case is always the case now, therefore, the checkbox to control the feature is removed.

All anonymous users will always be redirected to Viewport.

Public Java API changes

This version comes with a new public Java API version 1.0.1.

Methods using the "automatic redirect to Viewport" option were marked as deprecated.

Meta Tag macro

With this macro you can assign meta tags to pages and spaces (for example description and share image).
