Scroll Viewport 2.23.0

We're pleased to announce the release of Scroll Viewport 2.23.0, which introduces compatibility with Confluence 9. Scroll Viewport is now compatible with Confluence 9.0.3.

Dropping support for Confluence versions before 8.0

Due to the extensive changes introduced by Confluence 9, Scroll Viewport 2.23.0+ no longer supports Confluence 7.x versions.

Changes to custom themes required

If you are using a custom theme, please note that the upgrade will require manual changes to your custom theme(s).

• From Confluence 9.0, all method invocations in Velocity templates are subject to a strict method allowlist. Any attempted method invocations which are not allowlisted will result in a log warning and the method invocation being blocked. More information on Develop Pluggable Placeholders

• We have also removed the MetadataPlaceholder. If you are using this placeholder in your custom theme, please replace or remove it from your theme.
