Scroll Word Exporter

2026-08-07

August 2026

In this update we have fixed a number of bugs.

This includes fixing an issue where exports failed when a page tree included pages using the new Confluence Slides (BETA) content type. These page structures can now be exported without the Slides content causing the export to fail - please note, pages nested under a Slides hierarchy will not be included.

Additionally, we have fixed an issue that was preventing the Scroll macro configuration from being preserved after publishing. Specifically, on Confluence Cloud, reopening a macro’s configuration editor (eg. Scroll Ignore), after publishing now shows the saved settings instead of default values.

Furthermore, Scroll Table Layout macro export settings are applied correctly. We fixed an issue where settings such as Table Sorting, Cell Highlighting and Column Width sizing were ignored during exports.

Lastly, this update includes some preparatory backend changes for enabling and disabling app related analytics. Specifically, Scroll Word Exporter will collect anonymized data on user behavior to inform product improvements, providing insights into how often and in what ways certain features are used. It will also be possible to disable analytics on a Confluence site level, meaning data collection for all users across the instance would be disabled. More details will follow in an upcoming release when this feature is fully rolled out.
