Delete a Site

Delete a site to stop publishing your content to the web.

You can delete each site you create in Scroll Sites at any time. A deleted site and its configuration can’t be restored.

If you want to simply remove the site (temporarily) from the web but keep the site’s configuration, so you can go live again at a later point again, you might want to take your site offline instead of deleting it.

Delete a Site

To delete a site:

  1. From the Confluence sidebar, click Apps > Scroll Sites.

  2. From the My Sites screen, find the card for the site you want to delete.

  3. From the corresponding card, open the ••• menu and select Delete site.

  4. In the confirmation dialog, click Delete site.

Your site will now disappear as a card on the My Sites screen and is permanently deleted. This action can't be undone and you will lose all configuration associated with the site.

If your subscription expired or you uninstalled the app, your sites will stay online and all data is preserved for at least 35 days to cater for re-installation or subscription changes.

If you want your data to be deleted and sites taken offline ideally you use the method described on this page - otherwise get in touch with our support team and ask for an earlier deletion.
