Go Live With a Site

Select the site visibility option live to make your site visible and accessible to everyone on the web or to selected users.

Go Live With a New Site

When creating a new site, you can choose to go live right away (exposing your content to everyone publicly on the web right away) or keep the site unpublished until you are ready to expose your site on the web.

To bring a newly created site online right away:

  1. From the Confluence sidebar, click Apps > Scroll Sites.

  2. From the My Sites screen, click Create site. The site creation wizard opens.

  3. In the step Set up your site, under Site visibility select Live.

  4. Click Next and complete all the rest of the steps.

  5. Click Create.

Your new site is now available to everyone on the web under the URL you specified.

You can change the site visibility to Unpublish anytime by clicking the Unpublish button under Site settingsGeneralSite visibility.

Go Live With an Existing Site

To bring take an unpublished site live:

  1. From the My Sites screen, click the card that has your site’s name.

  2. From the left sidebar, click Site settings → General.

  3. Under Site visibility, click the button Go live.

Bringing your site online makes your Scroll site available to everyone on the web. You can optionally protect access to your site with a login, so only selected users can access the site.
