Scroll Viewport

2026-06-24

Scroll Viewport 2026-06-24 disables the option to update existing Viewport sites to encourage migration to Scroll Sites, fixes a bug with custom cover images when publishing Scroll Document content sources, and includes security dependency updates.

Site Updates are disabled for Scroll Viewport sites

The option to update existing Viewport sites has been disabled. When hovering over the greyed-out Update site button, you'll see a message directing you to Upgrade your existing sites to Scroll Sites.

Scroll Sites is the next generation of Scroll Viewport. This new app will replace Scroll Viewport. We recommend that you take your existing Scroll Viewport sites to Scroll Sites as soon as you can, in order to benefit from the new features and improvements.

Scroll Viewport will no longer be usable after September 30th, 2026.
Upgrade your sites to Scroll Sites before September 2026 to avoid losing access.

Scroll Viewport will reach end of service on September 30th, 2026.
Atlassian is ending support for Connect-based apps, and Scroll Viewport is built on Connect. As a result, Scroll Viewport will no longer be supported after this date.

Scroll Sites is the successor to Scroll Viewport and is available today on Atlassian Forge. If you haven't upgraded yet, now is the time to get started.

The good news: Your live sites will not be affected. Sites already published with Scroll Viewport will remain accessible to your users throughout your migration and after the end-of-service date.
