Scroll Sites 2026-10-26 helps find the right page faster in browser tabs and search engines and allows uppercase letters in URL paths
Find the Right Page Faster in Browser Tabs and Search Engines
Page titles on your site now name the content source and the variant. Your readers can tell pages like "Get started" from different content sources apart in browser tabs, bookmarks, and search results.
-
Page titles follow the pattern
Page title | Content source (Variant) | Site name. -
If a content source has no variant, the title leaves the variant out.
-
On a content source home page, the title names the content source only once.
Only the page titles change. Your page URLs stay the same.
Please refer to the Jira items below for more details on the individual improvements and bug fixes included in this release.
Improvements
-
STS-297: Show the content source and variant in page titles
Page titles now name the content source and the variant. -
STS-298: Show collapsed breadcrumbs as links in a dropdown menu
Collapsed breadcrumbs are real links with full keyboard support. -
STS-299: Allow uppercase letters in URL paths
You can now use uppercase letters in the site path, the content URL path, the version and variant URL paths, and the page URL path in the Scroll Sites byline. Your live site serves these paths with the uppercase letters, so you can keep your existing URLs when you move from Scroll Viewport.
Bug Fixes
-
STS-216: Inline images are too large and have extra spacing in the Help Center theme
Inline images now scale to the surrounding text. The line height and spacing stay normal. -
STS-279: Text overflows the tiles on the content source home page
Long titles and long words now wrap inside the tiles.
