Scroll Sites 2025-12-15 introduces support for Scroll ImageMap in the help center theme and many other improvements and bug fixes that will help you upgrade from Scroll Viewport to Scroll Sites, if you haven’t done so yet.

Support for Scroll ImageMap

As one of the final items to complete feature parity between Scroll Viewport and Scroll Sites, we have finally introduced support for our app Scroll ImageMap.

Scroll ImageMap is a K15t app available on the Atlassian Marketplace which enables you to add clickable link areas in various shapes onto images within Confluence, making your images interactive for readers.

With this release, Scroll ImageMaps can now be displayed in your help center articles for your users to interact with.

For a mobile-friendly result, we recommend you tick the checkboxes for ‘responsive’ and ‘show areas’ in the ImageMap editor. That way your linked areas will always be visible for mobile visitors.

Unblocking Your Upgrade to Scroll Sites

This release includes improvements and bug fixes that will make the app Scroll Sites and the resulting sites look and behave closer to Scroll Viewport.

With these changes, we are unblocking many customers who can now move their existing Scroll Viewport sites to Scroll Sites without any breaking changes or impacts on the quality of the published site.

If you haven’t done so yet, please check out How To Upgrade To Scroll Sites for a detailed guide on how to bring your existing Scroll Viewport sites to Scroll Sites and benefit from the new and improved experience.

Please refer to the Jira items below for more details on the individual improvements and bug fixes included in this release.
