More Reliable Search and Indexing
We improved how Scroll Sites handles indexed content, especially for large and versioned content sources.
Scroll Sites 2026-08-17 introduces two new page labels that give you precise control over how individual pages (and their children) are published and indexed on your site.
Control Page Publishing and Indexing With Labels
You can now apply Confluence page labels to control how Scroll Sites handles individual pages without unpublishing your entire site.
Two new labels are available:
-
scroll-sites-only-url-> The page and all its child pages are excluded from search results and site navigation, but remain reachable via their direct URL. Useful for pages you want to share selectively without surfacing them in search. -
scroll-sites-no-publish-> The page and all its child pages are not published at all. They return a 404, are excluded from search and navigation, and are invisible to site visitors. The content remains fully usable in Confluence (includes, excerpts, page properties, etc.).
