Find Your Articles Faster with Redesigned Search, 2026-10-14

Scroll Sites 2026-10-14 improved the search in the Help Center theme.
Quick search now looks at the latest version by default, shows where every result comes from, and lets readers narrow results by content source, version and variant without leaving the page.

Redesigned Quick Search

We've redesigned quick search so readers find the current article that answers their question. Previously, results mixed every version of your documentation. Now, search looks at the latest version first, and readers can narrow it down right from the results.

Each result shows its title, a short content preview, and its content source, version and variant.
Filter by content source and version at the bottom of quick search. After picking a content source, readers can choose a specific version or All versions, and a variant.
The first result is preselected, so readers can press Enter to open it.
If AI Search is on for your site, Ask AI stays at the bottom of the results.

Search filters are now always shown
The theme setting that hid the search filters is gone.

This release includes breaking changes for custom code which you need to update.
