Scroll Sites 2025-12-15 introduces an option to add announcement banner to help center theme and many other improvements and bug fixes that will help you upgrade from Scroll Viewport to Scroll Sites, if you haven’t done so yet.

Keep Your Visitors Instantly Informed With Announcement Banners

With the new global announcement banner for Scroll Help Center sites, you can highlight time-sensitive updates, alerts, promotions, or important news at the very top of every page—no coding required.

Configure the banner directly in your theme settings: choose a banner type (information, warning, danger, or success), add your message, and include an optional link that can open in a new tab. This makes it easy to quickly communicate urgent information to all visitors in a consistent, highly visible way, replacing fragile custom code snippets with a simple, built-in solution.
