App Farewell: Retiring Four Scroll Exporter Apps for Confluence
After careful consideration, we have decided to retire the following Scroll Exporter apps for Confluence Server:

Why are the apps being retired?
The decision to retire these apps was not taken lightly. Our team is committed to offering the best solutions possible for Confluence. This strategic move allows us to direct our resources towards more innovative and feature-driven development for the apps pivotal to our Scroll Solution for Confluence.
The affected Scroll Exporter apps were originally released to the Atlassian Marketplace over a decade ago - Scroll EPUB Exporter was the first to be created from an Atlassian CodeGeist ‘hackathon’ project back in 2011. Soon after, Scroll DocBook Exporter and Scroll EclipseHelp Exporter were also created in the same year, with Scroll CHM Exporter then joining later in 2014.
Since their inception the apps have provided many users with the necessary tools to successfully export Confluence content to their chosen file format in a professional manner. However, with an ever-evolving technological landscape, it has become apparent that demand for the creation of file formats offered by these Confluence apps has lessened. Furthermore, the technology stack that these apps are built on has also evolved. Therefore, when Atlassian made the announcement that they will be ending support for Server products in February 2024, it was clear that a decision on the future of these server-only apps had to be made, and this has resulted in the decision to retire them.
What Does This Mean for Existing Users?
No More New Sales or Renewals
Since February 15th 2023, it has not been possible to purchase new licenses for these apps. After February 15th 2024, the Atlassian Marketplace will also no longer support license renewals for these four apps. Therefore, these apps will no longer be available for purchase.
No New Updates
After February 15th 2024, no new updates for these apps will be released. This means that updates which may address critical bug fixes and security patches will only be available until the end of server support on Feb 15, 2024. The app listings will be archived and not accessible from the Atlassian Marketplace.
Support
The K15t support team will continue to support existing users until maintenance expires for all server apps on February 15th 2024. We will no longer support these apps after this date.
No Migration Pathway
The four Scroll Exporter apps are not available on Confluence Cloud or Data Center. This means that users migrating from Confluence Server will not be able to use our apps on the other Confluence hosting types.
