Scroll Sites can show a date at the bottom of each article page. The date reflects when someone last edited the article in Confluence. The setting is off by default. Turn it on in the theme configurator.
How To Turn the Date on or Off
To show or hide the date on your article pages:

Go to Site settings > Look and feel > Customize theme.

Open the Pages tab, then scroll to Article Page.

Toggle Last updated date on or off.

Update your site to publish the change.
The setting applies to every article page across all content sources in the site. You cannot show the date on some articles and hide it on others.
When the Date Changes
The date reflects the last time anyone modified the article in Confluence. It updates automatically, so you do not need to maintain it by hand.
Any change to the page updates the date, including a small one such as a typo fix. If you want the date to signal a meaningful content review, agree on an editing convention with your team first.
Which Date Format the Site Uses
The date follows your site's language setting and does not include a time. For example, a site set to English shows June 8, 2026.
