Delete any Scroll Viewport site that you no longer use (e.g it was set up as a testing site or is already upgraded to Scroll Sites).
This page will outline the correct steps to delete the site, depending on whether you have already replicated it in Scroll Sites or whether you choose to not replicate it at all.
Delete a Site That Is Replicated in Scroll Sites
If you have replicated your Viewport site in Scroll Sites, then from the My sites list:
-
Look for the site you want to delete in the list and click the preview image
-
Click Site settings
-
On the very top of the Site settings screen, click Delete old site. A confirmation dialog opens.
-
In the Type "delete" to confirm field, enter the word delete.
-
Click Delete.
Delete a Site That Is Not Replicated in Scroll Sites
If you haven’t replicated your Viewport site (because you decided it’s not needed), then from the purple box in the My sites screen:
-
In the list, look for the site you want to delete and hover over it.
-
Click Site not needed. A confirmation dialog opens.
-
In the Type "delete" to confirm field, enter the word delete.
-
Click Delete.
Deleting a site through these two options is only possible if the site has no custom domain connected to it and is set to offline.
Your site is now permanently deleted in Viewport and is removed from the purple box on top of the Scroll Sites' My sites list. You can now proceed with the list in the purple box and continue to decide whether to delete or upgrade the remaining site(s).
