This page explains the timeline of the transition between Scroll Viewport and Scroll Sites.
Atlassian is ending support for Connect-based apps, and Scroll Viewport is built on Connect. As a result, Scroll Viewport is no longer be supported after September 30, 2026. We built Scroll Sites as the successor to Scroll Viewport on Atlassian Forge.
Scroll Viewport is thus becoming Scroll Sites. As we retired the Viewport app on Sept 30, your live content has been migrated automatically to live safely in Scroll Sites.
The good news
Your live sites are not be affected.
Sites already published with Scroll Viewport will remain accessible to your users throughout your upgrade to Scroll Sites and after the end-of-live date.

Site Updates Disabled
Updates to existing Scroll Viewport sites are disabled.
September 30th, 2026
Scroll Viewport End of Life
Scroll Viewport reaches end of life. We will revoke access to the Scroll Viewport app.
On October 1, 2026, we’ve began automatically moving every remaining Scroll Viewport site to Scroll Sites.
Your sites remain accessible in Scroll Viewport, but you will no longer be able to make changes to them.
