How fast and reliable is access to Viewport sites (load time and uptime)?
Scroll Viewport publishes your Confluence content as a static HTML site. Static HTML pages load generally fast compared to other websites or public Confluence pages, as they are mainly focused on content and load very little content-unrelated page elements.
In line with K15t’s General Terms and Conditions for our Cloud products (including software and application data), a published Scroll Viewport site is highly available, with an uptime of at least 99,5%.
To optimize performance and allow for quicker access to a site, Scroll Viewport also makes use of caching. Using a content delivery network (CDN) to deliver content, Viewport caches resources (especially attachments and non-HTML resources) in the CDN long-time. The resources are also cached in the browser (after a first request).
