Explanation
To unlock the full capabilities of variant or translation management, the following conditions must be met:
Scroll Documents (the core app) is installed.
The relevant extension app is installed:
Variants for Scroll Documents or
Translations for Scroll Documents.
Valid licenses are in place for both Scroll Documents and the extension app (either active trial or paid).
All three apps must be pinned to the same data residency region.
Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Check licenses:
Ensure both Scroll Documents and the extension app(s) (Variants and/or Translations) have valid licenses. A valid license can be a paid subscription or an active trial.
Confirm data residency:
Ask your Confluence administrator to verify that all related Scroll apps are pinned to the same data residency region.
If apps are pinned to different regions, you'll need to:
Request a data residency move to align all apps in the same region.
