To migrate Scroll Documents from Server or Data Center to Cloud, follow the steps outlined in this article.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have the following:
Confluence Server or Data Center instance containing the Scroll Documents you want to migrate.
Confluence Cloud instance with Scroll Documents installed.
Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant (CCMA) version 3.3.3 or higher
Migration Steps
Step 1: Plan your migration
It’s important you have a plan for your migration before you start:
Review Atlassian’s migration guides to prepare for your move.
Evaluate your migration scope, timeline, and dependencies to ensure a smooth transition.
Step 2: Assess your apps
Before migrating, you need to assess which app you will need on Confluence Cloud:
Go to the Migration Assistant in the Confluence administration section.
Select View app assessment.
Search for "Scroll Documents" and mark it as Needed on Cloud.

Step 3: Prepare and migrate
Continue with preparing and migrating your content according to Atlassian’s instructions:
Follow Atlassian’s migration steps in the user interface to prepare your apps, users, and email domains.
When your preparations are done, proceed with migrating your data. Refer to Atlassian’s detailed guide: Migrate data using the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant.
During the “Choose your migration options” step in the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant, ensure you select all spaces containing Scroll Documents.
After Migration
Once you have successfully migrated:
Go to your Confluence Cloud instance and navigate to the migrated spaces.
Verify that all Scroll Documents and their versions are available in the cloud environment.
