How Can I Hide Elements in the Export dialogue?
Question
How can I hide specific elements of the export dialogue UI?
Answer
If you want to hide certain elements of the export dialogue from users, you can do so by injecting custom CSS into the export dialog iframe. The following example will allow you to hide the three-color K15t logo in the bottom-left of the Export dialogue menu but you can also hide other elements by adapting the script.
To do this;
Copy the following code:
CODE<script> /* * arrive.js * v2.4.1 * https://github.com/uzairfarooq/arrive * MIT licensed * * Copyright (c) 2014-2017 Uzair Farooq */var Arrive=function(e,t,n){"use strict";function r(e,t,n){l.addMethod(t,n,e.unbindEvent),l.addMethod(t,n,e.unbindEventWithSelectorOrCallback),l.addMethod(t,n,e.unbindEventWithSelectorAndCallback)}function i(e){e.arrive=f.bindEvent,r(f,e,"unbindArrive"),e.leave=d.bindEvent,r(d,e,"unbindLeave")}if(e.MutationObserver&&"undefined"!=typeof HTMLElement){var o=0,l=function(){var addTag('<style>.scroll-export-dialog-logo{display: none !important;}</style>'); }) }) </script>
- Then, add the code to Confluence's custom HTML at General configuration > Look and Feel > Custom HTML > in the At end of the BODY text box.
- Save the changes
After adding this script within the Custom HTML section the K15t Logo will be hidden from the export dialogue.
Hiding Other Elements
You can hide other elements in the export dialogue by using their corresponding class in the <style> tag on the following line:
addTag('<style>.scroll-export-dialog-logo{display: none !important;}</style>');
