Page Assigned To Wrong Page Group
This article explains how to find and fix pages that have been assigned to the wrong Page Group.
Symptom
When a page isn't part of its intended existing Page Group, the version or language picker may redirect you to the home page of the space or the landing page of your Scroll Viewport site.
Possible Causes
You may need to re-assign pages to different groups under the following circumstances:
If two pages with the same title don't actually belong together but were assigned to the same group.
If two pages that belong together were assigned to different Page Groups because they have different titles, or if one of the pages was deleted and recreated in a version.
Troubleshooting
To fix this, follow these steps:
Check the page groups.
Navigate to the Document Manager of your document.
Click More document actions (•••) and select Manage page groups to open the Page group manager.
Search for the page to confirm it exists in all the versions and translations you expect it to be in. If it is missing from one of the versions or translations, search for it in the other column.
Reassign the page.
Once you've found the page, drag it from the incorrect group to the correct one. This will reassign the page and fix the linking issue.
